The annoying thing I can see, with all these transfers, is we're replacing long-term players with short term contracts. Whilst the long-term players we don't want (Naby, etc) we cannot get rid of.
Either the board are confident of promotion in which the dead weight can be shifted easily, or RD is eyeing a sale of the club and cashing in on assets.
Sadly think it's the former but we live in hope. Meanwhile, Chicksen may be okay- we certainly need to fill out the squad, and while I didn't agree with selling THD, he wanted out by all accounts and this guy should be fine as a squad player.
