Well it looks as if Mr Heaney as found a nice little staller to hold back from paying the purchase of PAFC for a little longer. Until the Football League approve the deal Heaney will not be finalizing the purchase. On the other hand the Football League have ongoing concerns about Heaney having involvement, as regulations prohibit financial influence over more than one club. It seems that PAFC's players and staff will today be asked to defer their wages for yet another month..........how will that go down now that the season has started ? Will they accept the situation or will any of the staff or players say enough is enough and refuse to accept that ? The Administrator we're told is quite open to the possibility of selling more players to balance the books, and then to be able to pay wages. Heaney and his very invisable Phantom backers, straight out of the Kagami mold by the look of it, are obviously not going to answer Guilfoyles plea for cash to pay Augusts wages. Guilfoyle obviously has no power at all to speed up events and is being strung along by heinous Heaney and is phantom consortium. In the meanwhile PAFC die just a little more, and will do well to retain their players and to attract any new players that are still needed, such as a goalscoring foreward, as long as this situation is allowed to continue.
Isn't it the other way around Plymborn? We, including the League, have been told repeatedly that the sole owner of the club will be Ridsdale with no involvement from the consortium. This is a simple matter to check by reading the 2 sale & purchase agreements, which no doubt the League have access to. What's the delay on the League's side?
And now Guilfoyle's taking Heaney and co to court to make them pay up? If this wasn't my ****ing club it would be laughable. Bunch of idiots dealing with a bunch of crooks.
Couldn't agree with you more Greenjock .... there is another meeting on Saturday 11.30am start Lower Guildhall, the fiddler and Brenda are both supposed to be in attendance !
We will find out if Heaney and his Phantoms have got the money, now that Guilfoyle is taking court action............if he doesn't pay up what will Guilfoyle do ? Guilfoyle can't back down now, this could get serious if Heinous Heaney can't pay.......financially what are the so called Irish putting in the pot.......if it's nothing the question is do they exist at all..........if they do, has Heaney told the Football League there names, other than............Donald Duck, Micky Mouse,Minnie Mouse.Pluto.Tigger and Andy Pandy.
Apparently when Brenda was questioned by a reporter as to whether there was another interested party, he replied yes but I dont think financially they will be able to manage it. Someone at Argyle last night has spoken to Brent, and he says that he accepts he has to put some money upfront, and there is an open bank account all ready should the PB fail ! Why doesn't Brenda want Brent involved ?
notDistantGreen..............Maybe the Football League are concerned that Heinous Heaney isn't able (from what we hear) at present, to be able to pay his own club (Truro) wages in full. This must be a very lucrative deal that Heaney is waiting at present to receive money from.
Because GAT if Guilfoyle switched to Brent now, he's have to go through the entire preferred process that's been going on with BIL all over again, including presuambly reaching an agreement with creditors and discussions with the City Council. How long is that going to take? What are the risks that something BIL have already overcome will trip Brent up? A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.
But surely Distant if Brenda has stuck to his original deadline and Brent had to step in this would have been sorted out a long time ago, as it is they now want to delay until the end of August, will then then become the beginning of September ? Are you truly convinced that Heaney does have the money ? If he does why hasn't he honoured the original deal with Brenda ?
Heaney owes Truro players some money at present from what being said on another site, what if they take him to court as well..........he'll have nowhere to hide soon.
bad luck last night, let us hope brent and co have raised the dosh. i spy a very quick change of preferred bidders and a good job too
Apparently BG has issued an apology to James Brent for saying he didn't think he had the finances in place to mount a rescue plan ..... building bridges perhaps ?
Pity none of you on this thread saw the game last night. We should be talking about the football now and leaving this mess to sort itself out which in my humble opinion it will in the end.
Unfortunately Sensible if this doesn't get sorted out, there might not be any football to watch ..... A grass roots match stopped me attending last night ! I listened to the 2nd half on the radio though .... does that kinda count lol
My point is basically we should give up with all this rumour and speculation now and concentrate on team matters rather than off field. We cannot do anything about that part of the goings on no matter how much we would like to. The football side is being swamped by all this stuff and is not getting the airing it should considering the season has kicked off. The players need to know what we think about them and if they are doing the right thing and are playing well then need to be told loudly and proudly. Given their age then confidence is everything. They are incidently doing well even with a draw and a loss so far.
Nice one hobo..........how many pairs of trainers, track suits, fashion accessories, phones, computers, game consoles etc.....etc.........does it take to buy a football club.........answers on a postcard please.
