Obviously Tiggy Wiggy is the one to beat on form but ill be taking her on again at the prices. I was wrong last time and I could be wrong again but she has been on the go since March and this will be her 8th start, at a time of year when some of the others tend to start catching up with the early types. The Lowther form looks good but she had the run of the race and its safe to assume Cursory Glance took her form to another level when stepping up in trip and class in Ireland, she just didnt have the speed for the test that day at York and this race could be a more thorough test of Tiggy Wiggy's stamina. Anthem Alexander doesnt interest me at all for this. Lucida ran a blinder in the Moyglare but the drop back to 6f doesnt look ideal, she could look a big price but not for me. Terror looked a nice prospect when winning by 10l on debut but it wasnt much of a race and she is likely to get done for experience here. Two horses im interested in, mainly High Celebrity 5/1 who has a bit of a reputation and can be forgiven for her defeat when odds on in the Cherry Hinton which looks a false race. She was back on track last time winning a Group 3 impressively over 5 1/2 and the trip looks ideal for her at this stage, Fabre thinks she is a Group 1 filly and while she doesnt fit the normal French trend of running 2nd in the Morny, she does look to have had a nice prep for this, Invincible Spirits record in the race is another plus and I think she is the one to be on. The other one I like is Tendu 12/1, she is a sister to Showcasing and was really impressive when breaking the 2yo 6f track record at Kempton last time, she improved a lot from her first start and physically I think there is a lot more to come from her. She appears to have the gears although having only the two runs has to be a worry and there is a good chance that inexperience could find her out but I cant not back her as a saver at 12/1.
If you haven't already backed her for the L'Abbaye you should hold fire as Hannon now expressing some doubts on Sunday morning!!!!
Thanks Boris. Not touched her for the Abbaye at the moment. Will wait till the day. Just trying to roll up some decent stakes on certs at the moment. This was the first step.
Are you planning on starting any long range Festival punting with this kitty Bobster? Keep me informed if you are
Beefy mate, i'll let you know. Will probably start a thread once I have something to hang my hat on. Off the top of my head the ones I'm interested in at the moment are Champagne Fever 14/1(CGC) and More of That 3/1 (World Hurdle).
Yep and a well deserved one too. I wonder if this new sprint initiative for 3yos will open the door for him to have a G1 3yo.
