Can't see us even scoring in this game let alone getting any points a 3-0 Chesterfield victory for me (sorry).
hi gasheads, excuse the intrusion, but the strawberries need a shoulder to cry on, and the 82ers, oh and your lot. we could do with bristol x 2 and the tinpots sorting ourselves out. good luck at the spireites, lord knows who city are playing. we have the leaders brentford at home, so no sweat there. Floreat Salopia! ps do you want to sell matty h, even the gas pies smell edible!
Chesterfield has not been a familiar venue in recent seasons; November 1999 - Chesterfield 0-1 Rovers - A long time ago I know, but this was Rovers' last visit to Saltergate, but the more sensational aspect of it was that David Pritchard got the winner, slamming home his only goal as a professional in the second half. Jason Lee missed Chesterfield's best chance, ballooning the ball over the bar from inside the box. March 2013 - Chesterfield 2-0 Rovers - Our first trip to the Proact Stadium was pretty joyless, Chesterfield won a game which they largely dominated. First, Jay O'Shea found the net from 20 yards, before Armand Gnandguillet made the game safe with a close range finish.
All you need to know ahead of tomorrow's game Opposition: Chesterfield currently sit at the top of League Two and come into the game on the back of a 2-0 away win at York City. The Spireites have lost just three times at home so far this season. Opposition View: Chesterfield boss Paul Cook said: âWe just look forward to the next game. Youâd like to think weâd get good support on Saturday because as the games run out weâre going to need those supporters really badly because Saturdayâs a big game for us because itâs the next one.â John Wardâs Comments: âChesterfield are top of the league because they are the best team in the league. âWe are a long way off them in points total, and they are a long way off us because of consistency. âWe can take encouragement from the fact we went to Oxford when they were top of the league, and managed to win 1-0 in a good strong performance. âIf we can take the good points from Tuesday into the game against the league leaders this weekend, we will see if we can give them a tough game. âIt wont be easy, our mood has got to be right, and we have got to create one or two opportunities and put them away. âWe have to work hard and see if we can give the league leaders a tough afternoon.â Last Meeting: The two sides drew 0-0 at the Memorial Stadium back in October Team News: Eliot Richards is a slight doubt with a hamstring strain. Danny Woodards is likely to miss out as he also has a hamstring problem Tickets: Advanced ticket sales go on until midday today. Tickets will be available on the day at the same price. Team: Mildenhall, Smith, Parkes, McChrystal, Brown, Clarke, Lockyer, O'Toole, Harrold, Beardsley, Mohamed
no idea! clarke and lockyer is more defensive than norburn which will support the defence. then its out of o'toole and norburn to take the more attacking midfield role. i personally would rather see norburn on the bench than right wing where he was being used a fair few times this season
