Chester is a unique racecourse in that it is an oval circuit of only 7F. This menas that the draw has an unusually high influence on shorter races with those horses drawn low (i.e. on the inside) holding a major advantage. Whilst this shouldn't be construed as a licence to back the horse drawn 1 in every race, the draw effect should play a strong part in calculations <ok>

One I have backed is Blaise Chorus in the 4.10. Finished a very decent 2nd to Wonder Of Wonders in the Cheshire Oaks before finishing well down the field in the Epsom version. Won an all waether maiden over 10F last time and I think 10F is her best trip, and a mark of 90 looks OK (she was rated 100 after her Oaks run). Alot of the others in this field are going up in the weights and run off career-high marks today so I think Blaise Chorus offers a bit of value at around 10-1.

    Have a great day <ok>
