Just wondered if any of you guys were getting involved this year?

A day for the fav's so far. Long shot bet fell at the first hurdle (I will not apologise for that pun), but the big stake one is still running (I'll apologise for that)

If anyone has tips etc, then feel free to post in here.

A yes from me. A good start too, backed both the Mullins horses and have his 4 hot pots in an acca. If it wins, I plan to buy a Reams Facemask.

Tips - Purple Bay in whichever race it runs in
Call the Cops - think it runs on Friday
    TeaForThree - Foxhunters
    Kings Palace - RSA Chase
I strongly fancy Siviano Conti the Gold Cup as well.

Nice one, Nick. I can't acclaim to know a lot about the nags, so taking tips left right and centre.

This is where Pendra ruins my 4 horse accum for the day..

I've accidentally cashed out on one bet for £30.52 (will be gutted Keltus comes in). Won some money on Faugheen, so I'll take the £60 profit for the day and use some of it for the football tonight, the rest for day 2.

Again, any tips for day 2 most welcome <ok>

Nearly a good day for me yesterday. Watched the racing on the computer at work. I had the 4 Mullins horses in a Yankee, doubles and trebles, and an acca.
After the first 3 won at 2/1, 4/5 and 4/6, I was watching Annie Power in the final leg with my bicycle clips on. Imagine my delight when the horse was clear at the last...only to fall

Looked like Pendra was going to win at one point- always up there.

As for today, a racing journo from the Daily Star (!) told me that Sprinter Sacre is one to lay (if you have Betfair)

You can still see plenty outside MacDonalds on Catford High St.

Used to love catford dogs as a boy. Wimbledon isn't the same.

Unfortunately missed the racing today, though Sacre was backed everywhere as you mentioned.

Did you see the guys bet with Annie power? He needed it to win for 26k. Ultimate heartbreak.

I really fancy Vantour in the 1.30. In fact, I am drooling over the horse in the same way that Reams drooled over Katrien at the weekend ("I would trust her with my life") LOL.

One of my ante posts bets was on Call the Cops in the 2.05, but I am worried about the stable form.

Zarkander e/w in the 3.20 also carries my money.

    Amazing. Lead from the off.

Bookies would have taken a beating there, Betfair were offering 13/8.

Have to thank nick too for that tip. Wasn't confident enough so put it on my long shot 3 fold.

2 accas, 2 races, 2 winners. Keep the faith!!

Whatever it is you do for work it's not right for you, get a job tipping in the racing post. Zarkander could easily have won but had one awful jump, had him ew though based on your advice, <cheers>

Great start to the day, ended up fizzing out slightly. Profit none the less that will be taken in to tomorrow.

Hope you back your tips nick, and thanks for sharing.

Had a good day and nearly a memorable one...

Vantour 6/4 and Call the Cops 9/1.....and had a treble going on Zarkander 6/1. My life was flashing before my eyes. Absolutely convinced he would have won but for that one jumping error - look at the way he finished. I tried to upload my betting slips on here but won just under £1500 today....it would have been 10 grand plus if Zarkander had won too.
