Strong entries again in this "premier league" of competitions on Not606. Sebb has again graciously stood to one side to allow someone else the prospect of being the winner of the competition that all on Not606 dream of winning, Ask No Chance. Time to vote for the winner. The rules are as before but for those with an attention span equivalent to ACS when he's looking at non red heads: 1. You only have one vote. 2. You can vote for yourself. 3. You are voting for the BEST headline. 4. On this occasion you can change your vote. 4. If there is a tie I will have the deciding vote against which there is no appeal or whining. My decision is based on all relevant factors that I think are relevant. May the best headline win.
Some really quality Headlines this game. Now's the time to show whether you like the "sick" headline or one of the "funny" headlines.
I have left him a route - he has discounted my entry previously for not voting for it myself. Yet another example of my naivety and amateurishness I guess.
Oh Jak how little you know me and this Game. Don't you realise that it's the people who decide not me. The winner is whoever the Public want and vote for.
Time running out for those who want t vote. Will Jak Attack win the Headline Game or will fate deal him a losing hand. Only time and the Public will tell.
The people have spoken!!! Jak is a deserving winner!!! No doubt this post will be used as an excuse why Jak doesn't win!!
As far as I am aware voting is still open. The people have yet to decide. This isn't a fascist State yet where one or two people try and impose their will on the people Herr Adolf No Chance.
I do the same at football matches. Begging the referee to blow the final whistle on the rare occasions we take the lead - even if there is still half an hour to play!!!
As No Chance quite rightly says, the Public have spoken. The votes are in and have been scrutinised and verified in accordance with and to the rigorous standards set by FIFA. Now is the time to find out what the Public have said. Jak Attack has 6 votes. This notionally places him in the winning position. As we all know this Game has standards which other Games on this Forum strive to match but consistently fail to match. Did Jak Attack vote for himself? No. Who did vote for this entry? Well Chippy for one. Yes the very person who constantly promises to bare all but doesn't keep his word. Herr Adolf No Chance for another. The man who wants to dictate to others what they can or can't do. The man who stabs team mates in the back at the last moment causing them to lose. The man who in his own Game brings in new rules and applies them retrospectively to punish those honest competitors unfairly and unjustly. We then have to look carefully at the Headline itself. What sort of sick depraved character coins up a headline of that sort even if he tries to distance himself from it by not voting for it (yes, we noticed that). I mentioned at the start standards and like FIFA, the Kenyan Athletics Federation, the Qatari World Cup Committee, the Headline Game has to make a stand for what is right. It goes without saying that Jak Attack and his voting chronies cannot bring the Headline Game into disrepute and is, accordingly, disqualified. Second on the voting table is GLIF. A very good entry by GLIF and she did receive a good number of votes. But wait who is that voting for this entry but Jak Attack. Strange that he should be voting for someone else's entry and not his own sick and depraved entry. We then remember that Jak Attack was part of the Far East Betting scandal and we need to look a bit deeper. His cohort in that betting scandal was No Chance and not surprisingly we find that No Chance has voted for a different entry. That typical and obvious split vote betting scam so familiar to those playing the Mafia Games on this Forum. It is, therefore, with great sadness that we are obliged to disqualify GLIF as whilst we have no doubt about her honesty and integrity we cannot allow Jak Attack's blatant attempt at winning substantial amounts by his betting scam to succeed. That leaves us with the Hangman, the only other finalist, with one vote. The vote is Hangman's and no-one else's. Hangman surely cannot expect to win a Game of this standing when no-one else thinks his entry is worthy. It is again with regret that we have to disregard Hangman's entry. This leaves us with a predicament but as the rules applied are the upto date version of the No Chance Rules there was plenty to consider and peruse to determine who the winner of this Headline Game is. Fortunately after reading and re-reading the Rules and taking into account the precedents set in previous Headline Games we are able to announce that the winner of the CHELSKI HEADLINE GAME is I am shocked, surprised but very proud and honoured. What can I say
Its the only reason I enter the headline competition. Best one yet! Well done Sebb. Cant think of a worthier winner.
I once went off in a huff over something when l was young. I rode my bike in blind fury and ended up mikes away from home. I was absolutely starving and had no money. I went into a shop and tried to steal a Kitkat, but l was just too scared to do it, and this was in the days before CCTV. IT WAS A LONG................ RIDE HOME.
