"The situation is to win here. It would have been a massive win here, particularly given Arsenal and Liverpool's results. " Quote by AVB

Looks like Chelsea's target this season is to finish 3rd above Arsenal and Liverpool. Sounds about right to me <ok>

So that would based on him saying it before the game, knowing the results from the previous day and not being able to see into the future and predict the Utd result.

    0/10...must try harder.

So really it depends on your interpretation of Liverpool and Arsenal's chances this season - I'm guessing by the fact that you take issue with this article that you think they will be title contenders?

Me, I think they'll be battling for 4th, which begs the question, why is AVB so bothered about their results as opposed to worrying about potentially (and as it turned out) falling behind Man Utd, or possibly man city?

Possibly a bit of mind games from the new Chelsea Manager?

They are obviously contenders for the top four, along with City, us and Utd and possibly Spurs...any chance to put daylight between them and us should be taken...not tricky is it?
