Chelsea's record breaking season!

Having flicked through the latest Chelsea mag, I couldn't help drooling over the item entitled "Stats entertainment" , which is basically a summary of all the club and PL records we established last season.

For a start, we became the first British club to win the CWC, CL and Europa League! We score most CFC goals in a season(147), played most games in a season(69). We then clock up a record 29 unbeaten games in the FA Cup! Add to that a record equalling 8-0 victory in the PL, 6 DIFFERENT scorers against Wolves in the plastic cup (a record). Then we get a record 18 penalties, which are converted by a record 7 players!

We then set a club record score in the CL of 6-1 against Nordsjaelland! Add to that 3 players (Mata ,Oscar and Torres) who all played a record number of 64 games, Petr Cech clocking up a record of 142 clean sheets, JT hitting a Chelsea defenders record goal tally of 55, Lamps becoming our highest ever goalscorer (203).

Then we get Torres, Cole and Cech all earning their 100th international cap!

Not bad for a season presided over by novice RDM and the FSW!

You didnt win the CL last season

Also, one record you left out, Chelsea knocked out of the CL faster than any other defending champion in the history of the tournament


The records that count, most league titles, most European titles carry weight, you can have your little records

 

Shame you are know best on the continent for Heysel and Athens rather than your 'records' (Real and Milan are the real masters of the European Cup).

You would have thought you would have learned after Hillsborough but rushing the gates at Athens as usual

 

The Hillsborough comment is a disgrace and you should delete it. If you do, I'll delete it from the quote.

 

You dont appear to have understood the meaning! By winning the Europa League Cup, it meant that Chelsea became the only British Club to have won the CWC, Europa League Cup and Champions League!

 

So, Europa is the small clubs euro cup, nothing to get excited about unless you are a spuds fan

also your record breaking season you had 4 wins in a row, UTD had 7, you wend 8 games without a loss, UTD went 18, you had 3 consecutive clean sheets, UTD had 6.

Just saying

 

But you thought they won the cup winners cup?

 

Out of interest did you ever beat our record points tally record? or beat our clean sheet record? or beat our least goals conceded record? or any of our other records?

Just saying like

 

That's because he's a know nothing dipper on the dole.
