Evening Blues! Norwich fan in peace. A quick question for you... How do you see your defence lining up this season? For me you have the best defenders in the PL but they can't all play! This is how I see it... BOSINGWA TERRY LUIZ COLE I know JT is the main man so he'll definitely start, similarly with Ash Cole (one of the best LB's in the world). I believe Luiz will edge both Alex and Ivanovic. Most interestingly, the believe that AVB will put renewed faith into BOSINGWA whom has also had his injury woes. I believe his fellow Portugeezer, and former Porto mate, could force his way into the Chelsea starting line up - do you agree? I know Ivanovic has been one of your best players in the past two seasons, but, I feel he is better suited as a CB and AVB will help BOSINGWA produce the same form when he first joined Chelsea. Attacking wise he is far more superior. Maybe IVANOVIC would be preferred for the bigger games such as Man U when being faced against the likes of Nani / Young etc? I personally think it will start off as IVANOVIC ALEX TERRY COLE Luiz will gradually be brought back into the side, but neither he or Ramires have had a pre-season under their belt so I expect Alex and Mikel to get the nod ahead of them for the time being. Stoke are a physical side and I can't see Bosingwa or Luiz starting. Good luck with your season by the way
Spot on. Luiz and Ramieres will be phased back in after the first handfull of games and Bos and Ivan will compete for right back. As the OP said, it may depend on who we are playing as to who is preferred.
