Hi Guys just wondering what your thoughts are. I know in an ideal world we would beat chelsea twice at home over the start of December. But if you had to take one which would it be.
The cup ........ but it's a tough question mate. I think the league match will be a much harder game and not one we'd expect to win. There are other games where we'd have hope of picking up points. As it happens, I'd hope realistically for a point in the league and a glorious confidence boosting win and a semi-final to look forward to.

I really, really want to see us playing at the new Wembley Stadium and in Europe, and to do that we must beat Chelsea in the cup...Anything we can get out of them in the league game will be an added bonus..
i would love to see us take 4 points from our next 2 fixtures, then if we lose the chelsea game be up for a crack at the semi final, cant wait to be fair wonder if the crowd is any better
Exactly. You don't mark games against teams the ilk of Chelsea as important for the season. Great if you can get something, but you can't realistically expect anything. Cups, you have to a lot less work for glory. This comp will be the bottom of Chelseas priorities at this point of the season. Anything can happen in the 90+. Renewed optimism, why can't we beat them?
I'll tell you better after the Villa and Stoke games - if we pick up 4 or 6 points from them the Cup - if we don't then League! I would love us to win the cup - but our league status is the most important thing this season - definitely IMO. The money in the PL is big for our club wheras winning the League Cup is worth £100,000 in prize money if you win the final. Europa qualification will bring in more cash but nowhere near the millions from the Premier League! So sad
I take the cup win because we always lose at home to Chelsea in the league. the ****s always play well at the stadium of light tho.
against Chelsea ? the team who lost to Newcastle after we beat them 2-1? 3 points in the league and beat them in the cup please. Seriously though, Arsenal and Liverpool are the only 2 teams, based on current form, that I wouldnt be optimistic about getting something from. Them having said that, we almost beat the ****ers. If it wasnt for **** ref decisions..... So why choose between the 2? We should be aiming to beat them twice.
Cup please as I missed out on 73. There'll always be the league but will we ever win anything again?!? Arghh
Points in the league are more important than anything else at the moment,so the league would be my priority!
