    So after this afternoons carnage, does it mean that Chelsea will be without Ivanovic and Torres for the weekend ?

    Ivanovic ,yes a straight red , Torres probably as well although he was lucky to get away with just a yellow for his Chico like challenge in the first half ,inconsistency seems to be the flavour of the month with refs

    Won't Torres just get a one match ban for 2 yellows? He'll serve that against Man utd in the cup in the week

    They both get 1 which will be the Carling Cup game on Weds.

    I thought a straight red carries a bigger ban than 2 yellows ?

    Straight red is 3 and 2 yellows is 1 as far as I know

    Yea Torres will miss UTD but Ivanovic will miss the next 3.

    Ivanovic didn't get sent off for violent conduct so it should only be 1 game as with Daniel Agger earlier in the season who was given a straight red for the exact same offence as Ivanovic.

    I'd be amazed if its more than 1 as I don't see how the Ref could say that was violent in anyway.

    It will be up to the FA. It was not violent disorder, so imagine he will get a one match ban, not three.
