After Tottenham dropped two points against Sunderland Chelsea are looking to close the gap to just three points. Chelsea expected to line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation: Cech Ivanovic Cahill David Luiz Bertrand Essien Meireles Sturridge Mata Malouda Drogba VS Wigan expected to line up in the following 3-4-3 formation: AlHabsi; Alcaraz, Caldwell, Figueroa; Boyce, McCarthy, McCarthur, Beausejour; Moses, Di Santo, Maloney.
Mata should have buried that chance and Drogba should have scored his header at the end of the first half. Need to take these chances with more conviction. We have been pretty ordinary so far but that's our league form at the moment.
