Just done one on our Forum lads. You're all more than welcome to join! I write it all from the top of my head and try to remain unbiased (apart from the analysis which is supposed to be a tad more in the favour of Hull City). Linkety Link!
That's a very good article Candy Man! It's nice to see a team like yours back in the Prem! I hope you have a nice day at the Bridge, but be ready for Jose's homecoming party! The boys in Blue will not be allowed to lose on a day like this!
Thanks mate, I do a Match Preview for every one of our matches unless it's impossible for me to do so. I think we're still Hull City to everyone apart from our owners...
Good job Candy Man, you should contact Bucks Blue, he does great match reviews for Chelsea and also excellent post game analysis. Think he might be away at the mo, but he's on here regularly. As for the game, boy if we don't win it will surely hit the fan big time, in fact make that the fans !!!!! Best of luck with your dopey owners and the name change, never heard anything so stupid or disrespectful. Never seen a Tiger in Hull in my life. Maybe you should be the Hull Ferretts ????
Thank Candy Man, I'm really looking forward to this game, I've dusted off the shirt, painted the nails (no chewing them today as they have manage to grow sooo long over the last few months) and have the Prozac ready. I think this will be a cracking game, both teams having a lot to prove.
Cheers for the positive feedback lads, much appreciated. In regards to the owners, it's so hard to criticise them considering what they've done for our Club such as pouring Millions of pounds into Hull City (who from the neutral perspective would do that really?) to save us from financial meltdown following relegation from the Premier League last time. They kept backing us and throwing money in, made an amazing appointment when hiring Steve Bruce and clearly want the best for the Club. However, this re-branding situation would have been easier to take if they had consulted the fans but instead, the Club lied to us time after time even though little signs kept creeping out (i.e Hull City Tigers being on the Training Ground and on recent E-mails sent to the fans). Nick Thompson (our Managing Director) when asked about a possible re-branding on our local radio station BBC Radio Humberside, claimed it was just the business side of the Club that has been re-branded, not the Club itself (when of course that's not the case). It's this deceit that has led to the massive uproar amongst the fans. Well, that and the fact that the Club has released a statement that they'll consult us about the change in the Club Badge (rubbing our noses in it almost). There's no question that the Allams believe it's for the benefit of the Club, but in all honesty, they're just seeking Middle-Eastern investment so they can sell the Club really. It's all ****s and giggles until someone giggles and ****s.
Spurs fan in peace. Any reason Mata isn't starting? Got him in my fantasy football team. Oh and 1-0...
Blah. Lampard is such a genius. Can't believe he never gets the credit he deserves. One of the greatest midfielders to ever play in this league.
You can't stop lookin' at me, starin' at me, Be what I be. You can't stop lookin' at me, so get off of my face You can't stop clickin' on me, writin' bout me, Tweetin' bout me I can't stop, this what is gon' be, my swagger's in check
What are you talking about he always gets all the credit. He's Chelsea and England's little darling, and he does it without being a racist/ cheat/ general bastard.
Has reality finally set in, that your not as good as you think you are. United are still the best team in the league, we are going smash you to pieces at Old Trafford
Thread and comment saved. Expect to be fully rinsed and humiliated if anything but a resounding united victory takes place. I personally can't wait to play you.
Seriously the worst kind of WUM (ie lippy and talks sh!t) One game in to the new season and United are going to hammer everyone because they put four past Swansea City christ...Why cant football fans be sensible. The season has well and truly begun
