Chelsea v Watford. Walter Mazzarri´s men will be the first to face the newly crowned Champions in this rearranged fixture. The Hornets head coach has buried the hatchet with Conte after falling out during their time in Italy. WM said “What happened between us then is in the past. Though I don’t know what formation he will play against us. I’m pleased he’s won the title. Not just because of the Italian connection but because Chelsea deserve to win. They are a strong team, well trained with big players — although a good manager, of course, makes the difference. Before the game here, our first home match of the season last August, we talked for a long time about everything. There is nothing bad between us now. When we meet on Monday we will be safe and he has won the title, so we’ll be relaxed.” Watford must have doubts about the fitness of Kabasele after he hurt his hamstring against Everton. However, Cleverley could return. Watford haven´t scored in their last 6 away games letting in 13 in the process. What a run, a great time to face the champions. Conte has a full squad to select from although he may rest some payers with the league wrapped up and an F.A. Cup final on its way. ¡¡ENJOY THE GAME - COYH!!
I'll be watching in my local... probably one of only two or three Hornets in a pub full of chavski fans. I think we'll break our goal scoring drought... we'll still let in five but I think we might get one or even two tonight.
I am of the opinion a fearsome gubbing is on the cards. Deeney will end the game with RSI from slapping his arms on his sides. Zuniga will come on as our first substitute (around the 80th minute) and give us all renewed hope. Okaka will steamroller about ineffectively and argue with the ref a lot. I could go on with the similes - but I just can't be arsed. I really can't. Suffice to say I will tune into NBC this afternoon full of misplaced optimism. But will no doubt be thoroughly dispirited and hopeless before the halftime whistle blows.
I have to be out and about with work, but will have a peak at the BBC updates with one eye closed. The peak of fear, I think (an) early Chelsea goal(s) and it could get messy even if they have some changes. How low on confidence must a team be not to score in 6 away games and get 0 points. Rock bottom. Whereas Chelsea...
I would make my usual prediction but with over 10 hours without an away goal, it'd just be nice to score..can't see it though! Apparently John Terry will be starting but even with a weakened team () i can't see us getting anything!
The hornets might as well make a match of it and attack. Alternatively the manager may well have his own job security as priority so just limit the scoreline. On the other hand he may well welcome a large payoff and return to warmer climes. He is as good at English as I am at French, rubbish.
Will Gomes be left as stranded by our defence tonight?! https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....ll-training-kit-stood-outside-parliament/amp/
