Our tempo in the first half wasn't good enough and posed no real problems for Watford. Second half changes perked things up but for me the stand out man and MotM was Zouma never put a foot wrong, looked comfortable on the ball and took his goal with aplomb. Drogba was also massive in holding play up he's gonna be a big loss when he starts coaching next year.
Kurt Zouma is a big powerful lad who'll only get better. I sure as hell wouldn't like to have to play against him as a forward.
Kids like Zouma and Ake should be getting far more game time. FFS Harry Kane is only 21. We are far too conservative with our kids. Come on Jose give kids a chance, not just 10 mins now and again or a run out against Watford.
I think Zouma should be getting a shot ahead of Cahill now, just for one or two games. I thought Mikel and Willian were also superb.
