It will be interesting to see how seriously we will be taking this competition this year. We'll know when we see the side AVB puts out, but if it includes Turnbull, Lukaku and McEachran, then I can assume it will not be a first team squad if and until we make at least the semis. Seeing what Fulham did on Sunday suggests we will need the strongest team possible if we are taking this cup seriously.
Oriol, ramires, mceachran in midfield, kalou, lukaku, sturridge up front and i have no idea who will start in defence, possibly terry and luiz with maybe bertrand and ivan either side?
Drogs---I've just read Lukaku, McEachran and Sturridge will almost certainly start, which I'm happy about. We're not eyeballs out for this trophy, but if the fringe players can take us further so much the better! Lets hope they give some action to a few more like Bertrand and Kalou! Lets face it Fulham will be a full strength and keen to get a result, as they are not likely to figure in much else.
