Ok here we go A Chelsea match day thread without the Fabregas hate and Conte incompetence. In reality both teams are not playing their best right now and I suspect Conte may field a few youngsters in this. Everton will want to give this a real go especially after sacking their manager.

    Thoughts?

No way we are going to win this if Tony starts with Cescady Wescady in midfield, its like playing with 4 men against 11.
i think he is sabotaging the team so he can get another job and then he wont have to coach Cescady Wescady.

Is Dwinky winky fit or are we going to have to forfeit the match by playing Cesc!!??? <whistle>

Just hope we don't get the backlash of them sacking Koeman.

Think it'll be an entertaining cup tie and could go all the way to pens.

Shooting practice for the reserves.Everton are a great example of a club going backwards.

Just on my way to game thought I'd browse the thread and pleasantly surprised to just see people with positive views apart from obvious piss takes . Hoping to put this one to bed early can't take to many more close finishes

Like the line up a lot. Don't think we'll win as it's a bit inexperienced but great to see them get opportunities.

Told you Drinky lot better. But some of the native experts here didn't agree.

Ginger or CP your luck carried us.
Another lucky escape today. 3 in a row now.

Keep doing the auspicious Match day threads.

Luck plus some excellent saves from the goalkeeper.
My run down on an interesting selection by Conte.
Willy in goal was almost perfect apart from one "straight to the opposition "clearance. Kept us in the game for a sustained time.
Rudiger played well and scored, can't do more, Christensen looked safe and assured, top prospect, Cahill did OK ,he just doesn't offer anything in moving play forward and far too often looks to his goalkeeper.
Zappa again showed why Moses will struggle to get back in, played really well. The young midfielder with the fuzzy hair was tentative early, but grew into the game and did pretty damned well, especially with long passes to Zappa. Kennedy I thought was terrific, he's an excellent sub already and close to good enough to start in the PL. Willian, back to close to his best, took responsibility away from the kids and influenced all our play. Drinkwater did nothing much ,but nothing wrong, first run suggests he will be a good asset. Musonda was dispossessed too easily at the start but got going as the game wore on and showed some exciting touches. Keep. Michy looked like a proper striker first half and put himself about well. He faded a bit second half, but the substitutions may have caused some of that. Pedro is just a top player, Fabregas was hopeless for 10 mins then set up Willian with a sublime return pass, so frustrating, and Morata hardly got warmed up.
So all the youngsters made their cases to be genuine subs at a higher level, Willy is a better than good back up, and the usual problem players remain just that. Oh, and we need a genuine leader as Captain, someone to drive us forward, not backpass to the Goalie as default play.

.......I've completely lost interest in tonight's game and being 'Bristol Blue' I'm only now interested in the Bristol Titties of your latest signature image. Anyway, will we draw Bristol Titty, sorry Bristol City, in the next round?

And it was Cescy who let Niasse free run as usual then he assists for winner

    <doh>

Don't know how anyone can miss Cescy's uselessness.

One Word Nando. One player who cost 4 or 5 managers jobs.

De Gea or Kante Carried their respective teams.

One player can have massive influence either ways. Simples FFS!!

I think it's hilarious how you think you are better informed than the countless managers that have regularly played Cesc over the years!!

I'm just glad more and more people see through your silliness.....<laugh>
