How do we all expect we'll line up?

I've a feeling we'll see some changes from Saturday, and the large one will try and succeed where everyone else has failed - play for a 0-0. Ramirez is back but I doubt we'll see him start, most likely to be on the bench.

    I reckon he'll go with

    McGregor
    Elmo Chester Dawson Davies Rosenior
    Meyler Livermore Huddlestone Quinn

    Jelavic

Personally I'd like to see us attack them, they'll be up for it after suffering their first loss and the gap at the top being shortened to 3 points. Surprise them, attack them, play for the win. Nothing ventured nothing gained, and I can't see us hanging on to a clean sheet at the bridge regardless.

    I'd go with

    McGregor
    Elmo Dawson Chester Robertson
    Huddlestone Livermore
    Ben Arfa Ramirez Brady
    Jelavic

No matter how we line up I can't see us getting any points from this, so if we can put in a good performance and give Chelsea a game, threaten them and maybe get a goal, a good performance could galvanise the lads and give them their confidence back ready in time for a few winnable games.

I think we'd all like to see us go for it.

Equally, I think we all know we'll do the opposite.

    Frustrating isn't it.

But what can you do... Glad I'm not going. This'll be another over expensive day out to see a pile of ****e like old Trafford.

    I'd like to see:

    McGregor
    Rosenior Chester Dawson Robertson
    Huddlestone Livermore
    Elmo Ramirez Brady
    Jelavic

But expect to see an irritating 3-5-1-1 with Aluko behind Jelavic.

Brucie got a 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge with Slumberland a few years back. Hopefully he'll have that in mind. :)

I think he will go with 352, if so I would go with the following.

    McGregor
    Davies/Dawson/Chezzy
    Rossy Huddlestone/Livermore/Meyler or Quinn/Robertson.
    Aluko or Hernandez/Jelavic.

I have left Elmo out, as I think if Hazard plays Rossy can do a better job on him than Elmo.

All the top teams away should be treated like a cup final and just go for it! We're just not good at parking the bus!

We've "steadied the ship" in the last few games, so I think it would be a shame to go there, park the bus and end up with a 3 - 0 loss.

Hopefully if we do go for it, the performance at least might be decent and give us a bit more confidence before Swansea.

Exactly my thinking. No one expects to take anything from Stamford Bridge, specially this season. We expect to lose, we most likely will, and in doing so damage limitation will achieve nothing, where as giving them a good game and possibly playing some decent stuff and snatching a goal could do the world of good for the players confidence.

This is the one game I feel we should be defensive and negative. If you try playing football against Chelsea they will school you and make you look stupid!! I would keep the back 4 purely because we look much more solid with it!! My team would be:

    McGregor
    rosenior chester dawson Robertson
    elmo meyler huddlestone Livermore brady
    jelavic

play 9 0 1 and hope for the best on the counter pining long balls to jela and brady and elmo using their pace to counter. meyler and Livermore could also play the whole box to box role as they do mostly anyway!!

I see this as an ideal game for sagbo to start, he's our best cf at holding the ball up, it's pointless suggesting though. It's going to be jela regardless haha

I actually think ben arfa would be perfect for a game like this, let him show the big boys what he can do and maybe win himself a contract with a big club.

    ________McGregor
    Rosie Chester Dawson Robertson
    _____Livermore Meyler
    Ben Arfa Huddlestone Brady
    ________Jelavic

4-2-3-1, Livermore & Meyler sitting deep, Huddlestone played higher up the pitch, almost behind the striker, a bit like yaya toure does at man city sometimes.. ben arfa & brady either side of him...
