I was left with a big smile on me face last nite to how Chelsea beat Barca !!
Surely it must of crossed many of you guys minds ....
Squeezed em .. no space .. one up top at home and one behind hitting on the break ..
    Long throws !!!!!
Does this remind us of any other teams performances on a regular basis lol
They might av better players but in terms of who they were takin on !!! .. it also mirrored what goes on at a very close stadium to all of us !!
Goes to show dont it regardless of who u are tactics in football really are very similar ... its only money that divides ....

    Yes indeed PP, only 2 problems with me;

    1. It was Chelsea
    2. Canno stand Drogba, neither can he!!

I almost started a thread on this same game!
Good points rasied Potte Palm.. I watched the game and kept thinking any minute now Barcca will eventually score but I don't recall seeing ANY othe GAME at that level where so many passes i.e. Barcca went either sideways or backwards.??
It just shows that anything is possible and I said to the missus. This reminds me of a Stoke away day a couple of seasons back.

    This hurts but..
I must say that Mr Pulis get's the job done! In much the same way that Chelsea did. e.g. just hacking the ball away and giving the ball back to Barcca.
For the record my wife after about 30 mins said " This is boring me stupid, I much prefer to watch a Stoke game at home" <ok>

Nicky, on the topic of Drogba he goes down far to easily but at times the Barcca player's did likewise. I thought he had a good game WHEN he stays upright he's fantastic.

As they say P.P. There is more than one way to skin a cat.

Agreed Potts, its a great, great pity about Drogba and is antics, if he kept on his feet, in my opinion he would have been the best No 9 in the Prem in the last 10 years - yes he IS that good!!

Glad for the english league that Chelsea got the result, even though I am not a fan.

I must admitt that when watching the game it reminded me of a Stoke game and when Ivanovic started with the long throws I felt so dissapointed - TP has a lot to answer for!

I don't like Chelsea but in some perverse way I would like them to go on and win it with there make shift manager and the old guard.

I would wish that ANY English team and failing that any British team could win it.

I just cannot understand the mentality of anybody wanting a foreign team to beat one of ours.

Same goes for the World Cup and Euros!
