Not much activity on here. You're winning 1-0 at HT. <ok> Hudson-Odoi looks a class apart I must say.

Not bad for a Pre-Season game.

I thought you guys played well. Looked very solid defensively.

From an Arsenal perspective we started poorly and Emery made tactical adjustments that actually worked. Which is somewhat refreshing for us.

Hudson Odoi looked very good, not seen too many players beat Hector Bellerin for speed, and his all round game looked very promising. Morata was embarrassing looked like a Sunday morning pub player. If that man is a footballer then I am an Astrophysicist, and I cant even spell it.

That was promising, apart from Morata who should’ve had a hat trick in the first half. Hudson Odoi put them on a plate for him and he didn’t take any. He was absolutely head and shoulders above anyone else on that pitch, ripped Bellerin to pieces.

Our first half team looked good but the subs effected us a bit, lost control of the game when Cesc went off too.

Morata was absolute garbage as per but I thought we looked pretty good on the whole.

Yep, followed him a lot coming up through our youth system. As you say, he's a gem. Just hope we play him.

If he'd been decent last season, we'd have come third or fourth.

Can the club risk him again this year?

I don't think so. I prefer Giroud personally.

I wss unimpressed with Giroud in Russia, and hope we see Michy get a start. One thing is for sure, if one of our strikers doesnt fire up we’ll struggle for top 4 again.
Feel for Sarri as he will be a month into the season before he even knows his starting 11.
Considering we seem happy to lose 25 odd mill on Courtois snd let him run out his contract, half that could have seen Sarri at the Bridge a month earlier

Sarri has said Hudson Odoi will be part of his team, and it looks like we will lose either Willian or Hazard though I won't hold my breath. Can you weave these 3 into 1 team well it would be difficult but as we don't seem to have a focal point for the attack at this moment in time, although Batsy or Abraham could fill in when we need one, we could be playing without said focal point, Man City won the league without a recognised centre forward so could we. Hope you noticed I did not mention Morata, its because he has had enough chances and has failed every exam he has sat, He may well be the worst signing considering his wages and transfer fee since Winston Bogarde and that my fellow Blues is a damning indictment.

Mate, Morata has been an absolute let down. He looks like a rabbit in the headlights whenever a chance comes his way. I would like to see Tammy get a chance personally.

At the moment, on recent showings, Morata woulld defo be third on my list behind Giroud and Batshit.
