Mate I know it is hard to follow like 3 posts in a row, the jersey gag was @ another club not Chelsea<ok> Agreeing with Spuds fans.. it happens from time to time <laugh>

Park has sold more jerseys than the rest together <laugh> When a country with such a population have 1 jersey to choose from to wear its fish in a barrel<laugh> Good business though I guess.

There are millions of shirt collectors out there that will own a chelsea shirt as well as a Barca shirt an inter shirt.
Millions more buy shirts because of players rather than clubs. Park for example, no matter who he played for it guaranteed millions of shirt sales in Korea as many in Japan will get a United Kagawa shirt and bin their Kagawa Dortmunt shirt.

Shirt sales mean shirts are selling, little else I guess. Nothing to do with plastic fans. We know those are the ones wearing a shirt of a club but can't name the squad but brag like fk. I'd say sales went up after the CL win, exposure and winning will boost sales obviously

Surprised City aren't top, their fans must have had to rebuy their shirts after putting Hazard and RVP on the back of them.

Not suprised by these figures, as a regular visitor to Asia, if you crack that market you're quids in. The Asian locals are slowly starting to get behind one team and not jump about all the time as in the past. Our visits to Malaysia etc have a huge impact .
Once you only saw thousands of Man U jerseys with "Beckham " on the back.
Personalities still beat footballers, you will still see more "Drogbas" than "Messis"

Are you telling me that Chelsea sell more shirts than one of Manchester United, Real Madrid, or Barcelona? I know you guys are very popular in the Middle East, particularly in Qatar!!

No. For the period 2007-12, United, Real and Barca sold the most, with Chelsea next then Bayern, Pool, Arse.

In the calendar year 2012 Chelsea sold more than Real, fewer than Barca and United

Bear in mind we won the European Cup, that lifts the profile of any team thus selling more shirts

  20. It's always the way with money and success. I doubt that there are many QPR-supporting Chinese fans out there, for example.
