As usual when unbiased European refs decide who is best. http://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/club/index.html Discuss.........
Unbiased European refs is an oxymoron !! Would like to read the article, but won't open on my steam driven computer.
Well i did a little google search and found this, http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ea-worlds-best-team-according-statistics.html its a couple of weeks out of date but nearest I can get. Apologies if its wrong Ossie
ROFLMAO. The boff who came up with that scoring system needs medication. Still, we are the best team in the world. and now it's a official. so there.
I've always said Chelsea are the best team in the world and at last its been officially recognised! COYB!
If we beat Benfica we will overtake Real in the rankings. http://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/club/index.html The Premiership needs to thanks Chelsea: we are the only club stopping the Gerries getting their towels on our four Champions League spots
.... we've bagged more points winning the semi-final of the Europa, than Barca losing the semi in the CL... Seems a bit skew to me, but I'm not complaining.
Arsenal and Spurs had better be cheering us on and hoping we win the Europa League. If we do it doesn't matter who comes in 5th as we England will be awarded another CL spot!
Bayern, Dortmund, Schalke and Borussia Mönchengladbach. I think you'll find the only club that stopped Germany having a fourth representative in the group stage this season was Dynamo Kiev
Just a joke. Lighten up Swarbs. Told you Real were ordinary this season. Only Chelsea can stand up to in-form marquee clubs like Bayern
Ah, but as I'm sure you're well aware as a student of in form marquee clubs, Bayern were very ordinary last season when they didn't win any trophies for the second year running. It was their worst run of form since 1993. Chelsea can only stand up to declining marquee clubs, like a Barcelona that was already failing to paper over the cracks of their dominant team from 2009 to 2011. When they come up against in form clubs like Juventus and Shaktar they are frequently found out And Real weren't ordinary at all. Mourinho has just never been able to beat a top club in Europe. He relies on being drawn against very ordinary sides like Utd in 2004 and this year
I thought you'd like it Would probably prefer Klopp or Heynckes over Mourinho. I think his aura has been dented quite a lot by his relative failure at Real. He did great last season, but this year as soon as the going got tough he reverted to negative play and that has basically destroyed what could have been a great season for Real. Since then he has been looking for the exit and effectively trying to force the club to fire him, which has echoes of his last few months with Chelsea. But if Klopp or Heynckes aren't available I'd be happy with Mourinho, perhaps as a (relatively) steadying hand for a few years whilst Solskjaer gets more experience.
Just confirming what we already know. In this era, Chelsea are the best English club at playing in Europe. From 70s-mid 00s it was Liverpool, in this era it's been us.
Congrats on the Chelsea for being the top English team in Europe at the moment, and congrats UTD being the top club in England for the foreseeable future.
