Brilliant. Proves that money can't buy class. Unlucky Roman.

I suspect Chelsea will end up with Benitez full time

It's properly ****ed up Roman's 'long term' plans. He so wanted Pep, and now Bayern have got him.

The current Chav manager (best they've had in ages) is probably feeling like he picked the winning rafa ticket just now :p

Not really standing up to him, just a case of rejecting him.

Bayern are probably paying similar to what Chelsea were offering, but given Roman's record of sacking managers his decision doesn't surprise me.

Imagine he was at Chelsea this summer, they give him 3 months and sack him, it would be a waste of time.

So so so happy with this news, maybe those who have money don't always get what they want.

I always thought he had a soft spot for Arsenal. He's praised the manager and their style of play many times. And Arsenal almost plays a similar style to that of Barca. So i'm sure he had always had an eye over the job. But the Arsenal board aren't prepared to let go of Wenger just yet.

I don't think Chelsea and City were an option for him at all. Everyone knows they are just clubs trying to buy their way to the top. So the only other option he had left was Bayern, which obviously is a much more illustrious club than those 2. Had he joined atleast one of them i wouldn't have come to this conclusion but now that he joined Bayern over those 2 joke of a club, it makes it a whole lot easier to believe.

Guardiola wants to win another league. He has much more chances with Bayern than Chelsea. Good decision.
