I've just seen on eurosport that you lot are paying West Ham £1.5m + paying the wage (£60k/week) for Parkers services on loan for the season and then he'll go back next season.

It's not very often a transfer deal truely works well for both clubs but this one show's that Chelsea have good business sense, good sense of whats needed for their squad and a heart to boot. I hope this deal goes through as it will be a lot better for the player and both clubs involved <ok>

It could be good for all concerned, and England as well to be honest.

It's a real shame SP didn't get his chance when he joined us from Charlton, but Maklele and Lampard were in such good form back then he never stood a chance the poor sod.

    Great shout Bozz.

Good chance for West Ham to keep their main man as well (assuming they can get promoted) and avoids us having to shell out 10 million + to cover an injury.

I would be very pleased with this deal if it works out as I'm sure the player would be too.

I don't think there's much in that to be honest, but you have got rid of some prominent names after giving them their break...N'Zogbia, Bassong and Carroll in particular<ok>

I would love to see Tiote at Chelsea though:)

Parker would be a good addition, especially after Essien is injured.

Adds to the much touted Brit fabric of the team and all. Honestly Parker's work rate and efficiency will be a great boost!!
