In recents seasons we have had Jack Cork and Jacob Mellis on loan from Chelsea and seeing we have good relations with them i wonder if we could get maybe another loan for the forthcoming season...3 names i have looked at that could do a job up front for us are Milan Lakovic,Marko Mitrovic or Adam Phillip.........
What do other people think? Leave prem reserves alone? or buy from lower leagues and hope they can do a job?

Not a big fan of loan deals. Would rather just buy Jack Cork and bring in 2 more players. If that happend I would be more than happy.

If you can get a good player in on loan thyen I say why not. I mean, Guly did well (eventually) as did Papa Waigo and Antonio. If we loan players like that then why not. However, if its somebody like Bignall or Mellis then i'd rather pass.

Ray Wilkins isn't part of the setup at Chelsea anymore, so unless Adkins or one of the other staff has contacts there, I wouldn't be expecting anything. They might be looking to loan out Borini to someone else now that Swansea have signed Graham.

Anyone know about Borini's contract? Could we loan him for a season and then sign him for a knockdown price?

Well the problem with our reserves(Chelsea) is will there be any left after Frank Arnesen has finished

Rajkovic could be a pick , can play centre and left back and despite a poor season at Vitesse last season has good pedigree as has been at Twente and PSV before that and only poor management on Chelsea's behalf asigned him to Vitesse (Same for GK Matej Delac)

Lalkovic i think will be the best loan star to go out this season along with Cork but i wish we had kept Gokhan Tore and loaned him to a championship team this year as he has plenty of potential

To be fair I don't think Cork will be getting near the Chelsea first team which is why they won't get big money for him. Being at Chelsea has cost him in that sense as if he was playing in a Premiership mid-table midfield he would have had the chance to be very successful (see Henderson).

Borini gone.

I wouldn't mind a couple of top quality loanees; I mentioned elsewhere Frimpong at Arsenal. He was rumoured to be coming to us last season before breaking his leg. Wenger
may even be thinking of blooding him in.
