Liverpool wanted Mohamed Salah ,but Chelsea did not want Liverpool to have Mohamed Salah, last minute Chelsea outbid Liverpool to get Salah. Now, Mohamed Salah is unhappy and Chelsea are willing to offload him. I cannot count number of times Chelsea had spoilt the party for other clubs.Another one is Willian, Chelsea became interested immediately they knew Liverpool and Tottenham are after him.
Salah can be good but mostly he's not, which is why he was at Basle, the chavs mainly bought him because they thought he could regularly give the kind of performances he gave against the chavs over the two games they had and the EL performances v Chelsea the year before. That's just not the case. For Chelsea he raised his game and he'd have to do that game raising every game to be a PL regular. A sunderland or Stoke or the like is the place for him maybe. I'm glad chavsky bit that bullet for us We've already had an assaidi to offload without needing to get shot of another.
He showed at Basel that he is lethal on the counter, but at Chelsea didn't seem to be much use at breaking down a defence. He has pace, but let's be honest, what current Liverpool winger doesn;t?
The difference is that he appears to be able to finish! He'd be a good addition for us on his form in Italy....he looks like he could play up top too
