SkySports just confirmed we've had a 16.6 million bid for Shaktar Donestk midfielder Willian rejected. One question, Why did AVB lie after the game? He said in his interview something along the lines of " Willian is a very interesting player but he is cup-tied so we will not be going in for him in January or anyone else that is cup-tied "
what avb said after the game about him - http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/7448359/AVB-plays-down-Willian-talk. Maybe he watched the highlights of the game and has realised Malouda is ****ing dogshit
Not uncommon for managers to 'lie' about targets. Transfers done outside the media are 9 times out of 10 more smooth. See Cahill for example! Clearly we need more cutting edge going forward but I don't know too much about him other than Arsenal were sniffing around. Aparently Shaktar turned down Wenger's top offer of £3.56 so he didn't move!
As for Malouda, how can he moan about not being in the team. Been f-ink awful all season. Exactly the sort of player we need to be replacing with younger, hungrier talent.
James Perch is young and hungry..... Well it is lunch time! Back on topic, all managers lie about their transfer targets. Apparently we were not signing a striker this window and all of a sudden POW! we sign Cisse. Trust AVB. He is a very good manager who will at least lead you to 3rd this season and probably beyond the following seasons
