I am sat in the car in a traffic jam near the sol so I thought I would share my thoughts on the game. I was sat on row 2 right near the dug out so had a good view of sessegnon in the first half. In the end we lost the game in the middle of the park. It's true we had 2 wingers playing in their but that's where the game was won and lost. Henderson had a terrible 2nd half, he played the ball backwards and sideways but had no contribution going forward. We need catts back and muntari in to take pressure of hendo so he can play his game. Elmo was also poor today, no final ball and no variety. The positive were sessegnon who looks a real prospect. He was out of position at times but you can understand that having only had 3 days training with the team. He looks very creative and as well as having loads of tricks to beat a man he had good vision at times too. Bardo was different class again, fabio must but gutted he chose to play for Scotland as he is now one of the best full backs in the league. We were unlucky at times, I could not really see the pen but it looked a little harsh fro Where I was sat buy I could be wrong about that. Chelseas 3rd came from a corner which should have been a goal kick. Still the best team did win. The positive for us is we gave it a go even with a thread bare side. I think it might have been a mistake to not play Riveros who is a natural CM. We will certainly be a much better side with catts, Munt and Wellbeck. I am not worried as were still playing some good football we just not playing it consistently enough.
