Yeah would be a good signing. Really hope the de bruyne signing happens as well as he really looks like a great prospect. Send him back to Genk for a year if need be. It seems things are starting to click in place now regarding transfer targets.

Width is something Mata will not bring, he's a quality player but tends to drift inside and is not an out and out winger more an attacking midfielder who likes to dictate the play.
Havent really seen much of the lad to be honest but what we really need is somebody who can successfully take players on and chip in with a few goals which is what I hear Mata does. Sounds like a good buy from how you've described him there though.
He'll get goals and assists but through the middle not out wide, he can take a man on and deliver a good cross but is not say a Robben or Giggs type player.
I see, well with our lack of CMs and reliable wingers this season, I could see us playing him behind Torres and Drog if we do not succeed with Modric/another CM
s a very good prospect. I know these videos tend to show the best, but what I've seen he looks the real deal. He could be a steal for 27mil (if anything could be a steal for that kind of money)! He could well be the spark we are looking for. He seems to enjoy his football so hopefully he can bring some of that joy and delight to Stamford Bridge.
