    The ball was going away from the goal and a defender was closing the angle, shouldn't have been a red card but full credit to the ref for sending him off!...:grin:

    Of course it was a sending off.

    Without the contact the Swansea player will reach the ball at least two yards ahead of the defender & ionly have to stroke it towards goal.

    He was going around the 'keeper not away from goal!
