Surprised you guys have marked Mata down - some of his ball control and the vast majority of his passing was stunning. I'd go 8 for him. Moses was a handful so 7 for him. Oscar = potential genius - lovely to watch the little fella. Easy 8. I think Studge is a ****wit. He is either selfish or lacks the vision of a top drawer player; or both! Several occasions he could have passed to a better placed team mate but no he tries and shoots and misses. He's not for me - 5.
Tbh, Romeu fluffed his chance to impress, as did Sturridge. Azpi maybe has a shot now as does Moses. Bertrand wasn't too shabby. Marin surely will play on Saturday.
Mata was fantastic throughout, didn't put a foot wrong. So cool on the ball and rarely misses a pass.
3 for Luiz is ridiculous. I know he can get us fingernail biting at times, but not tonight! He got in there, scored a goal and was a key contributor in our victory!
Don't look now, but your bias is showing. You can see nothing good about Luiz as you constantly tell us. Even when he plays well. I feel the same about Cole, but I do give him credit when he earns it. I'm with Bluemoon 2. 3 for Luiz is ridiculous, the other points are pretty spot on.
Cech - 5 Cesar - 6 Was a bit rusty defensively but how good was it too see a full back with speed attacking down the wings for us !! Been a long time Luiz - 5 Crap again, needs a rest big time he is so burnt out, i'd play Cesar again saturday with Brana at RB Cahill - 6 Not bad, poor defensively great goal again though Bertrand 6 not bad Mikel - 5 Looked like he lacked concetration Romeu 5 Crap but looked rusty and short of game Moses - 8 top quality and a constant threat, beast Mata - 7 Another great all round display Piazon 5 not bad, once again looked short of game time Sturridge 5 did ok, very wasteful and didn't do much off the ball and link up play wasn't great but to be fair he hasn't had a lot of game time, i'd give him another try saturday, if still poor then i'd put Torres back in the team Hazard 9 MOTM, Came on and changed the whole game imo, constant threat and caused all sorts of problems Oscar 8 top notch as usual, looked much more of a solid unit when he came on Ramires 8 was great all round as usual, made the united defence look like absoulete mugs with that goal as well haha
You do realise I have been one of the few constant defenders of Luiz and Torres? I am a fan of Luiz, and yes he has a great free kick and penalty, but he is still making costly mistakes. It's a mistake a game. Love him to bits but its too much.
I'd be tempted to play Cesar-Cahill-Ivanovic-Cole vs Swansea. Luiz is doing my nut in atm, costing us way too much
Fair enough, he is a tad rocky just now. sure he'll bounce back to the form he showed end of last season.
