Didn't see any of the game last night but impressive win nonetheless. Just need a win against either Basel or Steau to top the group or a point against either to qualify. Won't have to go through the nail-biting Arsenal and United probably will.
Top of the group is alway a bonus. Arsenal should do that and hats off if they do from that group. Depends if United can win in Leverkusen...
Apart for 15 mins or so we looked comfortable should hopefully top the group I think all 4 english sides will qualify for the knockouts
Chelsea and City are there, Arsenal should make it, whilst United are favourites to make it but defeat in Germany next time out could change all that. Hope all four go through, knockout rounds so much better when all of the teams are still involved
We will top the group after this result. Luckily for us Basel got very little against the worst team in the group.
You didn't miss much, we started poorly, picked up as the game went on, were gifted a goal, and won comfortably. Could have been 2 nil down in 10 mins. Terry was strong, Oscar had his moments, Willian was better, the rest only so so. Draxler looks the business. Would have expected more energy and drive, but not to be, against opposition that was dangerous in front of goal, but couldn't get there most of the game. Happy with 3 points, another strangely limpish performance.
Do you think the players are happy under Jose?? Apart from Terry, Cech, Lamps, Cole and Oscar, I am beginning to have my doubts. You know the old saying, when it's bad on the field ,it's always bad off the field.
