Yet another outrageously disgusting no show in a cup game; it was a totally unacceptable performance, disgraceful. It was a thoroughly embarrassing experience at Melbourne Park this afternoon, there was no passion, tempo, or desire to win the game from our overpaid bunch of prima-donnas. This has to rank up there with the Bedlington Terriers debacle as one of the darkest afternoons in the clubs history. Cousins, White, Wordsworth, and Henderson were by far the worst players on the pitch. Cousins was poor, uselessly flapping at balls all afternoon; White canât cross the ball and was constantly outthought by the opposition; Wordsworth was clearly disinterested and played very badly; Henderson was particularly lazy. I thought this kind of capitulation was over when Ward was finally sacked. I am seething with anger. Fair play to Chelmsford they absolutely deserved to win convincingly, they wanted it more. Itâs hard to take that Blue Square Bet side completely outplayed, outfought, and nullified our threat while largely keeping it on the deck, in an FA cup tie against a neighbouring town.
