    Why exactly is he so good?

    I have seen alot of you play last season, but I never seen alot of Tiote in that time. Other than that he gets booked alot and breaks up play what else does he do.

    Ive seen him get caught afew times on the ball, tbf that was towards the start of the season when he was getting up to speed so i wont base an opinion from that so is he good technically which adds to his game or is he just a never say die player which makes him so good? theres alot of hype from you guys so i just want too know why.

    He does both of those things very well

    TBH he just does everything that you'd expect a defending mid to do and he does it all well

    He is sensational, he will eat you now that he knows you've questioned him. He breaks up play sensationally, can tackle, can pass, and was a real rock for us last season.

    is he? because i didnt know that one already mate, thats why i dont really see much of him in games and why i asked what his game was about...

    Brilliant defensive midfielder, breaks up play, excellent distribution and a great engine - covers every blade of grass and reasonable pace for a player in his positioning. Is adding an attacking side to his game as well, aside from the Arsenal goal he has a few long range efforts which got better towards the end of the season.

    He gets far too many bookings, but if he cut that out of his game, he's a £25 million midfielder.

    In fairness to the OP, DM is a position where you have to watch the whole game to get an idea of how good the player is. You cant tell much about them just from watching highlights
