Time to enjoy a rewarding weekend So feet up, with a glass of wine, That´s what I´m doing, so greetings I send From a Canary, whose world is fine We really could not have asked for any more On yet one more ´ A. Neil Day´ Where, after viewing Watford, he clearly saw Two or three ways to make them pay In with Jerome C. and Wes Hoolahan Despite breaking a winning team, They proved an integral part of the plan And an icing to top off the cream Defeats for ´Boro and Bournemouth and Town Only added spice to the day, Some of those other bosses may well frown With fourteen games yet still to May And with jitters like that, you never know With Ipswich next up in our Dome, The timing is right for it to be a show So I´d say, ´Welcome to our Home´ But please don´t give Neil the ´MoM´ award Now that things are running so well, The curse that often brings, here and abroad We don´t need, this close to the bell. Sorry RBF - I was out last night, but will definitely be celebrating tonight. Hopefully, REALLY celebrating one week tonight!!!!
Had to get up at 12:20 to follow the last 20 minutes ( full day power outage made me drunkenly go to bed about kick off time which was 11 pm for me).
Sorry to be so tardy RBF, I didn't spend too much time on here over the weekend. I just walked around with a smug look on my face. Another great ode to include in the book I think.
Every reason to feel slightly smug at the moment THURNBY, although we´re nowhere near there yet. This next one is a real bogey team for us, especially at their place - hopefully A. Neil doesn´t set too much store by past results
Absolutely RBF. I did make a comment on another thread that to me the Blackburn game was potentially more problematic than the Watford one based upon history as you have said. Another fixture to play if of course Fulham, now that is certainly a mental obstacle with our last victory being around the same time that Wolf Hall was the present day.
Haven´t read the Wolf Hall novel, but I´m assuming you mean the 2009 version, not the 1500 or so, original
Sorry RBF, I was being very tongue in cheek and referring back to the time of Henry V111 - it certainly feels that long ago!
