I was ecstatic when MoN arrived at the SoL; a Sunderland fan managing the Club, fekin fantastic. Since then there has been a steady decline and the spirit, within the players and the fans, has seemingly evaporated. Utterly dire performances, week after week, culminated, for me, at the Swansea home match, where Johnson ambled away with has back to the ball as a throw in was being taken; seemingly disinterested in the game. Watching the results at 4:50 on a Saturday has since been akin to having teeth pulled. The cat now lifts its arse to be kicked, beer tastes like vinegar and shopping on a Saturday almost seems more appealing (God fekin forbid). MoN had to go, I wish him well and hope he is ok. It must have been a nightmare for him, just as it has been for all Sunderland fans. Its time to move on, a new start with a new Manager and rockets up the arses of feckless players.
