His comments today in the 741 news articles have only made me think he shouldn't be here. To come out and say: "The gaffer could have gone for Scott at Birmingham, but I think it would have been a bit harsh. Iâve only been here two weeks and Iâd have felt a bit hard done by considering itâs a team game and itâs not all down to me." is a bit bloody silly if you ask me, he isn't our player, he has openly said he wants to play for West Ham and if we are completely honest he is a good keeper who is probably a bit better than Loach but not streaks ahead and his attitude is clearly that he thinks he's better than a) He is b) ITFC in reality this is a prime example of what is currently going wrong at this club, short term fixes when we should be developing the players we already have.
If I was Scott Loach I would be as angry as hell with what is going on. Loach is still young and will improve but he needs confidence and these comments will just rub his nose in it even more! Loach wants to be at Town and wants to do well so give him the opportunitty and stick with him. Henderson can **** off back from where he came especially after stupid comments like this! what an utterly stupid thing to say you should definitely get rid of him immediately. is it a little odd that mccarthy is still playing him? he obviously sees him as the better keeper too. i also read about re-coker saying daft things following your midweek game too, slagging off players which wouldn't have been quite as bad had he not been equally culpable by all accounts. it sounds like the short-term signings are the ones doing all the talking at the moment which is unusual. you can't even get rid of them all as they are padding out the squad. such a strange situation you have got yourselves into...

Don't see much wrong in what he said. Yes, he's a load of number one but he's a bit deluded if he thinks he is anywhere near good enough to be West Ham's. I've never wanted him here but I don't think there's anything out of order in these articles out today (which incidentally are based on interviews last weekend - why publish them now after a five goal drubbing - different context)

Bit harsh, he made his mistakes and we move on. He hasn't left us in a great situation and in great condition that we can all agree on, but we're not as dangerously overspending as we were when Keane had just left and if you look closely there are the shoots of potential around the place
Not being harsh at all just being honest and truthful. We all slagged Keane for the mess he got us into but this pales into insignifercance compared to the situation MM has inherited from Jewell. It's alright for him with his no doubt big fat pay off and his place on the sofa back at Sky! We all knew in the summer that this season would turn into a slow motion car crash.
Fully agree with the comments re Henderson. I don't see why we have him, Loach should be are number one keeper. Sitting on the bench can't be doing his confedence any good. Although i don't think his comments were bad, just a nieve young man. To be a pro footballer you have to believe your good enough
Just like the first post on twtd my immediate thought was 'you're being kept out of the west ham team by Jussi and a 19yr old' It's totally unfair on Scott, his 'dream' move is more like a nightmare for him at the moment.......poor sod. Leaving by mutual consent would mean that PJ didn't receive a pay out, right?
