The second link is funny. Asks the question "which club is Luke Shaw best suited to?" and every comment says Southampton.
I actually agree with the last article. Marcos Alonso would be a brilliant replacement.....for when we sell Fox in the summer
That middle article is particularly ridiculous. The constant speculation is understandable, he is a world class prospect. But insinuating he has to choose is laughable. I'd like to see a team meet our valuation of him first!
As I've said before, I think we ought to spread the rumour that a fairy tale reuniting of Gareth Bale with Southampton is on the horizon. Why not..? It holds just as much water.
How about a straight swop between Luke and Bale? Anything less, I would suggest NC tells everyone to do one!
I'm fairly certain that Shaw has every intention of signing a contract...as he said this is the best club for his development. Won't block a subsequent move if it suits both parties...it's not servitude.
