If you offer a bit less cash & keep Parkin , they might go for it London (doh ) !!. P. S. Hope you don't mind London , if you do let me know & I'll veer off . Bit thirsty so it's Miller time !! . Nice signing by the way (cheers )

Not sure that we would want Evans, poor record, though I think Parkin could do a good job for United.

How about if we sell Parkin for the first offer made then give them a 20% discount if they promise to take Naylor as well?

cant see any deal being done for Evans, and i think if given the chance Parkin will be a good impact player for us this season. Remember it is all sunshine at the moment, but we will need players like Parkin on a wet tuesday night in Barnsley etc.

5 strikers plus a youth product is more options than we've had for a while. Don't want too many options as you can't keep everyone happy. Assuming you never have all 4 available for one reason or another (injury, tiredness (?), suspenssion) 2 on the field and one on the bench does us so for me Parkin could go without replacement which still gives Nat Jarvis as cover.

Still need a midfielder or 2. One and Bellamy is OK with me. :emoticon-0140-rofl:

I would prefer it if we kept Parkin, I think he could and will do a job for us when the chips are down.
Always a bloody nusiance when we played against him anyway, let someone else suffer that from him.
Bit of proper game time in the right team and he'll do ok.

A bit different than Goodwille (case dropped) with a court appearance on 8th August. What is it with footballers and rape cases? How are they that stupid to put themselves in the position where the allegation can be made?

The case will probably be dropped. He'll claim she had her tights on and was only trying to get a ball in the net.

from evans comments it seems he will be cleared, anyway the conviction rate for rape is like 5% so he should be ok to sign for us <ok>

Rape is a serious issue and some of you are old enough to know better. Pathetic.

Even though the conviction rate is low the CPS must be confident of a conviction, be it Evans or the other guy, suffice it to say it would be a poor move for a family club. If cleared of the charge he should be allowed to crack on with his career but not at Cardiff.

...and you're an irrelevant nobody who hovers around here waiting to take the moral high ground with your insignificant one liners to boost your sad little ego...that, my pink army little keyboard warrior, is pathetic.

i take it he was referring to my post, anyway my point was that evans has strongly denied the charge so to judge him before the verdict is hugely disrespectful to the player <ok>
