    Thoughts on this guy?

Was a good player for us on loan from city a few years back and isn't too far behind the mighty Rhodes in the goalscoring charts of league 1. I imagine he'd be much cheaper but is he capable in the Prem?

Sending this off my phone btw and it seems determined to autospell Ched as Cheddar so apologies if that's happened at all lol.

Haven't seen Rhodes play so can't comment other than he scores goals. Evans played for us, carried us up front while here. Big and strong outside the box so thumbs up for me. And 28 goals isn't it?

Personally I would have Rodriguez over both Rhodes and Ched. Can score goals and imo has much better movement which would benefit players like Holt.

Evans is never going to be a prem player. He did provide a small spark of hope in dark times though and will be one of the few loanees from that period who is remembered fondly.

Rodriguez has only scored one more than Charlie Austin in the league. Not saying he's no good of course. And he's only a few months younger than Ched who won't be 24 until December.

I don't really know who we'll get if we do buy another striker, but I hope we get Snodgrass. I get the feeling he would be immense at this level.

Evans is due in court on a rape charge isn't he?

Just possible he won't be available anyway. <whistle>

OK, had a brief bit of success here in what was a bad period for us, but not one for me I'm afraid.

I was beginning to think it was my memory playing tricks! I seem to remember he was pretty good while he was here, but when he moved on, didn't he develop an attitude problem?

Personally, I hope we get a winger with real pace. I think Pilks is actually a better version of snodgrass (good on the ball, but lacks pace). If Wigan went down, I'd be happy if we took Moses. I'd also take Thomas ince, Ben Marshall or Matt Phillips.

I think replacing Kyle naughton will be a tough ask though, think spurs may give him a shot next season.

As for strikers, agree Rodriguez is a player I admire.

I think being on a rape charge rules him out as a "Lambert Player" shall we say...

Matt Jarvis might fit that bill but an England cap may have lifted his wage demands

So a drunk girl has sex then accuses of rape when promises of being a wag dissolve. Predictable.

But yes, I agree that will rule him out as a potential target - bagged another 2 last night aswell.

Wow, what a comment! All I can say is I hope you're not on the jury.

A girl apparently so drunk she doesn't know where she is, three young fit males.... - yes of course she had it coming! <doh>
