Is it not past the stage where cheats/divers are dealt with in the same way as "trial by TV" violent conduct. May sound like sour grapes today but obviously it pisses you off more when it's your team. I dislike cheats more than the odd elbow. kick, stamp, and even the (odd)name calling.
The dive by ridgewell was an embarrassment to be honest. I think he's a horrible man anyway but would never had him down as a diver.
Disagree. watched it time and again. Long stood on O'shea's foot and went over. This fair play thing is pathetic. The amount of cheating going on is as bad as anytime. Why are the FA allowing it to continue. Games are being decided on blatant cheating.
I have to say that it looked every inch a pen from our lofty viewpoint but then I haven't seen a replay yet. If he dived then shame on him but then his team have gone away with 3 points so he wont give a **** and neither will Clarke or their fans. Until there is action taken on video evidence AFTER games, then it will continue to happen.
