May as well get this one in before CFC

Pep snubbed the Chavs as he wants to manage a big club with a rich history, and chose ££££

By the way UTD did not approach him, they want Rogers in <ok>

That's more like it, HRH. If you're gonna Wum at least make sure there's somebody to Wum.

Not that there's many Chavs around nowadays. Can't think why?...<whistle>

  6. Everything has changed, completely, within only a few seasons. Only Arsenal remain of the old guard, who any one can say, with any conviction, have a real chance of competing at the very top, now. But, even then, we all know that when Wenger goes, Arsenal are probably going to be battling for mid-table honours, along with Chelsea, United and 'Pool.

There are new kids in town, now, at the very top. Does anyone, apart from Sky and the BBC, decry that as being a good thing?

nah <laugh> talk about cl at straws haig, you seem to be suggesting that Leicester and spurs are now epl power houses? when both consistently qualify for cl football 3/4 season running then maybe there would be an ounce of truth in your ludicrous statement.

but just for humour purposes tell me, if that were the case then why wasnt pep rumoured to be in talks with spurs or Leicester about a possible job? what with them replcing the "old guard" as you say ?

  8. Ranieri and Poch have proven records in the Prem. Why would the new breed of Prem powerhouses want to take on an unproven entity?

Come on, Sucky, mate! Please, cut some slack with the unnecessary wum comments.

    1. his name alone can attract players poch and ranieri could only dream of
    2. neither team had a chance in hell of getting pep, because they are not european or even epl powerhouses and have replaced none of the old guard.

Because we are not in turmoil Sucky. We have a good up and coming manager. I'm surprised Pep didn't want to come to you, considering your illustrious history and all the, big trophies, years in the top 4 etc etc.

  13. True, but we prefer to create our own world class stars, these days, Sucky. It's what United and 'Pool used to do, back in the days when they used to be good, too.

pep was sounded out and wanted the job but we decided klopp would be a better fit, with his experience in working on a budget opposed to cheating on football manager with a blank cheque.

ps you are right, we have more top 4 years than spuds and Leicester combined, and yes more trophies and yes a much more illustrious history, than both, combined :)

I bet Klopp is gutted that he'd only just got himself stuck at Liverpool when the Bayern job suddenly became available!

Levy wouldn't sell The Chavs a dog's turd. Well, he might sell them one, but only at the right price.
If we sell you lot anything, you'll feel your bollocks being torn off too!
