Spurs did that as well without being banned and are going to win the league apparently, no big deal

Yeah it would’ve been funny if we knew that an appeal wouldn’t be successful.

As PNP says, they’ll end up being able to stockpile in the summer so the ban will have little effect.

Surely they'll improve now given they won't be allowed to buy players like Jorginho, Barkley, Drinkwater and Bakayoko??

It’s common knowledge round these here parts that Chelsea paid/pay for youth players to go to Whitgift.

Champions of FFP? Yeah right! <laugh>

What a time to alienate your star youth player and to lose your best player. Prospective new managers won’t be queuing up either.

They can still sell players so he’s alright.

"The ban, until the end of January 2020, does not prevent the release of players and will not apply to their women's and futsal teams."

So Neymar etc "identify" as a "woman" .
Chelsky sign them and become the first top flight league club
to field womxn in their starting XIs.

FIFA compliance AND umpteen "right on" points accrued.

Their first team can't sign anyone, regardless of sex. No hermaphrodites, either.

Invariably this will be reduced to 1 window on appeal and the appeal will be delayed long enough so it doesn't impact the summer window.

May force some youth to get a chance though. Our recent signings have hardly set the world alight either.

    1. So what does the "will not apply to their women's and futsal teams" mean ??

If they signed the female Messi, they could not do a "Gregory's girl" with the
    mens senior squad ??

    2. Sign to their academy, and "promote" to their senior squad
(question as to when does an academy player stop being one) ??

Their women's and futsal teams can sign players. Their men's team can't and they're separate enitities.
The academy is part of the men's team.

Isn’t this your 2nd offence? If so then I don’t see any appeal working if there’s proof that you’ve been naughty.
