I'll make a prediction that we'll be fourth bottom come the end of this month.

S*** fixtures coming up, the volume of six pointers and the games against the smoggies and Birmingham have got disaster written all over them.

We're getting worse by the game, our midfield is now like a knife through butter and our defence is very suspect now that our left and right backs are being taken on.

I think for the first time this season our Championship survival prospects are on a knife edge.

Bang on 50/50 I would estimate right now.
Injuries and January are the big unknown factors. It is a pity though that those unknowns will play such a big part, after we got off to a decent start.
After our form over the first dozen games, I think most fans would expect us to have bagged 29 or 30 points by now.

If NJ learns how to use the whole squad properly we'll be ok. If not we go down. We were average L1 for the first half last night, and for 13 minutes against Portsmouth we were second best of 2 poor teams. If he drops the midfield that came on at h/t and sticks with the sieve that went off we're dooomed.

At half-time we're now 20th, with the next three games against the teams immediately below us.

They are going to love playing us with us having lost six on the bounce.

We must be taking six points minimum from these next three games.
Even then there is a lot to do in the second half of the season to stay at arms length from the drop zone.

Think you need to look at the opposition and lower, if you can get much lower <doh>, your expectations :emoticon-0148-yes: - I think most people had us down to lose today ? I’m just saying our next few games are winnable in my rose tinted glasses <cheers>

Depends on our injuries and January recruitment. We looked a decent mid-table side at the start of the season but now the injuries have hit we look pretty awful and current form suggests we’ll go down, BUT with the right transfers and the return of Kelman, Bell, Edwards, Godden (?) we should be ok…..bookies generally have us 5th or 6th favourites to go down.
