Quite an entertaining end to end match with loads of shots.

Both keepers played very well.

But the shots were either tame on target, or more suited to rugby.

Am very surprised it finished goalless.

Every time we get near the top six which would give us a bit of excitement we don't take our chance and always against the bottom half teams. Yet we can beat the top teams.

Another away performance with hardly any attacking threat. Seven away games without a win.

Time to except we will finish mid table.
That's how we have set up away from home under JS. Don't concede and try and nick it. Kolli should of won it, happy days, sadly goalie made a great save.
That's it away from home expect the same performances for the rest of the season, and hope for 3pts at home.
Remember no Burrell, Verane, Chair,Poku and Dembele

Cook MOTM for me. Honourable mentions to Walsh, Dunne, Northington-Davies, and Kone.

Disappointing night for Saito and hoped to see more from Vale.

Just catching up with our match and scoreline, at least a tight defence with lack of goal scoring, so was that a "good" point tonight?

My last 23rd November 2013 visit at HQ was a tight game too (1-0 R's) with only a Charlie Austin "wonder" goal the difference and I recall Ben Hamer having a great game for Charlton in goal.

It is mate, we had chances to win it late on, but a point a piece is spot on. We have set up away from home like this for mths, and bank on 3pts at the next home game. So need to be beating Blackburn next week. We have so many game changers injured that I am really happy that we can still put in performances with a makeshift team and could of nicked it

I think Stephan got things a bit wrong tonight. All game, he watched us struggle to get closer to their box against a 5-man defence and never thought about switching to 2 strikers.

I don't really think anyone played badly, aside from Saito. I just think the formation up against theirs made it really difficult, especially with some of our best players out injured.

Walsh was definately a positive tonight.
The ball being full of helium also helped, they would have been about 5 up had their strikers got their head over the ball.

Another game that could have been ours had we pushed forward, very frustrating.

I've been impressed with how well Walsh has played since he's returned from the wrist injury - there might actually be a good keeper in there somewhere

I know we finished the game stronger but overall that was dreadful against a very basic team. Bizarre to take Smyth off rather than Vale. Centre-halves and Walsh did well. Madsen doing Madsen things. Saito is about as strong and useful off the ball as my nan.

Walsh and Cook outstanding.

I think Kolli did as much as he could..in the last minute...keeper did very well

Shame it was Dykes who stopped as winning...but not in the way we thought.

Nathan Jones and his finger biting/ tooth picking was horrid...but for the first time ever I will give him his due when he said he wouldn't have liked to see Vale get a red for the high foot in the first few minutes..a yellow was the right decision.

Thank you Jones very unlike you...but right

Walsh and the back four were good, the front four were awful and the midfield indifferent. A clean sheet and a point away from home. Onto Blackburn. Mid-table finish incoming, not too shabby, no scary end of the season is a positive.

We've got no squad presently, and for some reason Saito has to play, so not sure what options we had. Vale was more likely to keep it tight than Smyth out wide, so made sense. We presently have a very limited squad, and I personally think we are doing really well considering that fact

I stated mid Jan, that if we get to March still within 6pts of play offs that we would make it(assuming that all the injured players are meant to be back by then as stated by the club), and I don't think we will be far off that.
