Anyone going? No trains, the buses will be jam-packed with long queues, parking will be difficult.

    I'll be there.

Wasn't aware there'll be no trains, so thanks for the heads up on that one.
I know a few options for match-day parking that hardly ever let me down - even back in the days when we used to get 20,000+ on a Saturday.

On momentum hopefully we'll steamroller Cambridge.
I think the palice loan will be instrumental in our season.

At least the first half. Cawley tells us they have a recall clause.

One day at a time. Cambridge won't come to win. They will try and mount a deep defence and we will have to break them down. After Tuesday, my confidence is good. But I doubt this will be easy.

I'll not be online again until late this evening, celebrating another Valley win hopefully - UP THE ADDICKS!

Great performance on Tuesday, but this is Charlton <sorry>. So I'm not joining in the general optimism.

Four points from six works for me.

What was Innis thinking? When he loses his discipline his does it big time. And Stockley missing sitters is becoming a problem, especially if he's going to play all game every game. Cambridge were an ugly team who came to stop us playing and succeeded, we didn't deserve to win.

Innis was lucky not to see red for one off the ball incident.i thought the ref was poor all over the pitch, and that was one he missed.
You have to hope to kick on at 1-0 up, but we lost our way, and Cambridge grew into it big time. Overall, a draw was a fair result.

And just to cap a perfect afternoon, I picked up a food allergy attack in the afternoon, sneezed all the way through the first half, and my eyes are horribly swollen. Saturday can do one.

Six from six is better though -that’s if we’re serious about being top 6’ish <cheers>

I thought over the whole 90 minutes we did enough to win that game. Basically we should have been 2-0 up rather than 1-0 up at half time.
Didn't take chances, rode our luck (Wollacott almost robbed in his 6 yard box) and gave too many balls away in midfield.
During that first 25 minutes of the second half we could have been 1-2 down, so I shouldn't grumble I suppose.

What I'm looking for from Ben Garner is a gradual improvement in the team's performance.
Didn't see any of that yesterday.
    But it is early days.

The ref was poor. And the linesman on the West stand side had a hair trigger on his flag.

    Trivia question:

Why bother anymore with the coin toss before kick-off?
Why not just have home advantage, and let the home team kick off from the end of their choice.

OK, keep the coin toss for matches played at neutral grounds.
But that aside I don't see the point. It's just an old tradition that serves no purpose anymore.
