or Roland Vs the Oystons. A couple of years ago this would have been an ideal opportunity for a joint protest, but with both owners looking to sell it will be a muted affair. I hope that Robinson puts out 11 fit players. The policy of playing those who are carrying injuries has backfired, we are losing games and losing players. Blackpool, according to KR, are one of the stronger teams because they have been in division 1, failing to mention they've just come up from division 4. Looks like a very small crowd, hardly any away fans to swell the numbers
Wow, this is a new high for Charlton Apathetic. Thirty minutes into the game, 1-0 up with a great goal by Arribo, and almost no posts on here. Last minute treat to visit Bluewater?
Both sides trying to play decent football but absolutely no atmosphere. Blackpool have bought about 80 fans, it all seems quite amicable.
Not a classic by any stretch, but at least we are 1-0 up at the break. About 6,500 in, maybe 7,000 to see Charlton's patched up team looking a bit disjointed and sometimes shaky at the back. But although Blackpool are trying hard they are showing little quality. We really should be 3-0 up, Magennis has missed good chances. I hope our slender lead does not come back to bite us after the break. This kind of game should be 3 points if we want to run with the top quarter of the league. Granted we have injuries, but dropped points and excuses won't get us out of the 3rd tier. Time for the players to step up now.
Oh dear. It’s so obvious, i don’t really get wound up anymore. I actually laughed when it came up on SSN
Blackpool got stuck in second half, and we didn't like it. Best, Magennis and Reeves should have killed it long before Blackpool came back at us.
blackpool were the worst team to visit us this year. and they rightfully took a point. we are cr@p. we just couldnt control the ball and should have been 2 or 3 up if we had strikers. i dont count best or josh as josh didnt try and best is only half fit
Just got back and it was entirely predictable that Blackpool would equalise. Firstly the good points, Joe Aribo scored an excellent goal beating three players before coolly slotting home. Dijksteel played well as did Konsa. But Best missed a sitter, Magennis ran around a lot and Ben Reeves looked like he was on his Holidays. I can't remember their Goalkeeper making more than a couple of Saves. We are going nowhere.
The evidence of the sheer imbecility & bollok rot of the Regime is currently being played out live on Sky Sports, where Nick Pope is having another worldy against Spurs. 9 clean sheets in 16 PL games, and guaranteed to play for England sooner rather than later. Wasn’t it £1.2m Meire got for him.
How short was Bests contract? If he misses the next three games couldn't that make this performance his last?!
