Erm... I don't see any match thread, so I'll start it. Charlton: Hamer; Wilson, Wiggins, Dervite, Morrison; Pritchard, Harriott, Poyet, Jackson; Ajdarevic, Sordell Subs:Thuram-Ulien, Reza, Green, Church, Wood, Cousins, Nego Millwall: Forde; Dunne, Robinson, Lowry, Williams; Upson, Garvan; Jackson, Onyedinma, Woolford; Morison Subs: Bywater, Fredericks, Malone, Beevers, McDonald, Marquis, Maierhofer So Pritchard is back in, and Sordell retains his place. The big news for Millwall is that Morison does start. Honestly, I'm as optimistic about this one as I am whenever Baldrick tells me he has a cunning plan. But COYA!
So that will be either Pritchard on the right with Ajdarevic behind Sordell in a 4-4-1-1 or Ajdarevic on the right in a 4-5-1. Am sure Cousins isn't happy to be on the bench again but who would be dropped for him? For me Ajdarevic is best played behind the striker and Harriott offers pace and width on the left. Can't see there being many goals, 1-0 smash and grab away win, Jackson to get the goal.
Might be on bbc radio london, if in the area. Im overseas at the moment and looks like its 5 live over the net, capt Blackadder & twitter if we can play like the 1st half againt Huddersfield I'm confident we could get something out of this one.
No predictions, but Hamer in goal again is a relief, and takes away a bit of the reasoning behind the 'RD wants all his loanees playing' thing. It's a bit sad to see a keeper described as 'conference level' on the bench for us when we had Alnwick, but such is life. I just hope we turn up today, and really give it a go. Actually that's rubbish! I really hope we win!
Hope Pritchard does well ... I'm a fan he has had some poor games but he's no where near as bad as he's portrayed by some and his work rate second to none and he gets stuck in I applaud the decision to start him
I really wanted to go this afternoon, but my six year-old daughter said to me, 'Don't go where the 'horrible men might hurt you, daddy.' We are not going to lose this one. My guess is a 0-0, and I'd be happy with that. Having said that... I've just received a message... Sordell to the score the winner... COYR!
Sorry all... Had a really busy last few days so wasnt able to create todays Thread Reckon Pritchard will play on the Right of the 4-2-3-1 formation (line-up below in my eyes) and that he's been put into the starting eleven as he'll get stuck in more... Hamer Wilson - Morrison - Dervite - Wiggins Poyet - Jackson Pritchard - Ajdarevic - Harriott Sordell Having Reza on the bench certainly means we've a stronger bench (with two Strikers that can be called on) but where is Tudgay?
Quite right, Mike. We know for sure he'll be snapping at their heels and giving it 100%. We need his sort this afternoon.
Vol must be confused, Finally get rid of Powell and the new man restores "the worst player ever to pull on a Charlton shirt" to the line-up.
Still no Polish Pete Don't want to make a prediction today, but not really optimistic or pessimistic for this one. Just want a good performance, 3 points and 10 goals for Sordell.... COYR
I get the impression Polish Pete is'nt remotely up to the challenge at the momento, so we'll have to hope he's one for the future.
I don't get why Sordell is starting and Tudgay has been dropped completely... and Cousins, as much as I like Poyet he gives the ball away in dangerous positions while playing the holding role, while cousins is far more solid (if he brings him on to play LM again I will be annoyed)
Harriott has a great chance on the break but he mis-hits a shot when Sordell was in a better position.
