Morning All, Thirteen years ago today, two Leeds United fans, Christopher Loftus and Kevin Speight travelled to Turkey to support Leeds in their UEFA Cup Semi-Final first leg against Galatasary. Sadly these two family men never returned after being stabbed to death. I remember at the time I was listening to talksport, driving around in my Cadbury Van (used to work for em) blubbering uncontrolably like a baby. YOUR MEMORIES WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN. M.O.T In Candy's absence (where the bloody hell are yer) I have decided to do a frisky match / good Morning all thread. Lets see how it goes... Caretaker Manager Neil Redfearn is set to make changes to the starting XI in the quest of three valuable points which should at least confirm Championship survival. Quite interestingly Poleon has been recallled FROM Sheffield United, lets hope he starts alongside Ross who, having come on as a second half sub on Monday scored a screamer. I wonder whether his gesture to the bench had any influence on Warnocks departure that day? Had Warnock lost the dressing room. Surely Varney must be dropped, it is time to give Hall a go..... Other changes that may be made would be replacing Kenny with Ashdown, and as Lees is in the middle of serving a three match ban, I suggest Redfearn either gives some match time to one of the youngsters or picks somebody from the crowds. Following Pearce's rugby tackle on Sammon in our penalty box, he should be fined a months wage and banished to the reserves. David Somma has returned to training, but is not yet match fit. Former Leeds favourite Andy Hughes may start against his former side. Hughes 57, has started the last two games for Charlton having spent 14 months out with injury. Charlton boss Chris Powell must decide whether to stick with the side that gained a valuable point at promotion chasing Brighton and Hove Albion on Tuesday night. Dale Stephens and Matt Taylor returned to the squad at Brighton after injury and came off the bench. Striker Ricardo Fuller picked up a shoulder injury last Saturday and was an unused substitute in midweek. On loan Swansea City winger Mark Gower is still waiting for his first start since joining last month. Defender Leon Cort is still struggling to overcome a knee injury and Danny Hollands remains a long-term absentee.

Morning all - Will be very interesting to see who Redfearn picks and leaves out. Thoughts also to the families of Christopher Loftus and Kevin Speight. Next manager - I know a lot of faces who I don't want to see but I will remain on the fence this time, after wanting Warnock so badly and regretting it even more I am nobody to judge. I just hope we get one in who doesn't waste money on positions and players who make no improvement on the team and one who plays a style of football that suits the team he puts out on the pitch, basic stuff really.
Morning Ristac, Tell you what, I'd love to see Radebe return to us, as a coach, or assistant Manager. I reckon he'd sort our defence out.
Morning all, doesn't time fly. Can't believe it's thirteen years since that awful night in galatasary. Tomorrow is the beginning of a new dawn (again). Surely sooner or later some manager will get it right. One thought though, why are we getting it so hard recently to clear out the debris. Bates still chairman or president or something, Harvey working socks off, Warnock mouthing away and advising on next manager, Lorimers ****ing away still in the papers. Is there no way we can finally drawn a line through all these wasters for once and for all. I don't see other clubs at this racket. None of the aforementioned are welcome within 1000 mile radius of Elland Road in my books and have done nothing but harm over the past decade. Poyet can be removed now from the betting. Would cost us 2.5m in compensation so that's a no go
Andy Hughes is not 57 HE IS ****ING BRILLIANT!! Morning all Who we all backing on the national? sunnyhillboy & seabass for me
Morning all. Looking forward to the game tomorrow, especially as it gives me the opportunity to pay respects to my late Father in Law, who was a lifelong Charlton fan who never got to go to a Leeds v Charlton match. On who should play, I'd have Asdown in goal with the usual back 4 (with White at LB). I'd then have Green, Austin and Dawson in midfield, with Ross, Morrison, and Hall/Poleon up front. As I said yesterday, this is the start of the long march to promotion next season, or at least top 6. It'll also be an opportunity for Redfearn to show to the new Manager the types of players coming through, and by extension, who should be moved on.
Morning viewers RIP Chris and Kev. Matchday thread? Is it Saturday? What happened to Friday? Are Millwall still going to be C.O.E? Did Torres really score TWO goals? Is Rafa coming to Leeds? Mighty and TC which is Arthur, which is Martha? Has Parkin got an account at Wonga.com
would you drop Warnock? I think he's been outstanding and is a threat at corners and balls in etc! Much more rounded player than White IMO Enjoy the game tomorrow Boggers & at least you wont be home late!!
Cheers Bucks. I agree Warnock hasn't done much wrong, but he's still a loanee. Are we going to sign him in the summer? More to the point, if White isn't playing at LB, who plays LM, White, Dawson, or Hall? Alternatively, do we go with a 442, & play Dawson as one of 2 in CM with White or Hall wide on the left? On getting home, no its relatively easy. But the train does head towars Depthford. Are the 'Wall home or away on Saturday? Away to Birmingham. Hopefully both the 'Wall fans will be still drinking near the Bull Ring by the time I leave Charlton
Thats fine for you to say.... The other day I was just passing through the NSFW picture thread as SHMBO wandered past the PC, you would have thought she had caught me on a vinegar stroke viewing youpron.... I blamed you guys and explained I thought NSFW stood for Neil Stuart Francis Warnock rather than Not Safe For Work and I was innocent, not sure she believed me. lol
I spent an hour queuing from Charlton ground to blackwall tunnel last Saturday, then got lost at Stratford and spent another hour queuing to go back throiugh the tunnel the other way. Where were you when I needed you?
Boggers, we signed Warnock on a three year deal mate. He is alllll ours! Good luck getting into the team though with the best left back in the division DURY to compete with! Perhaps thats not fair as we have hardly seen him, but theres probably a reason for that.
I know a Chavs address in Bristol we can raid for snap on stuff if you need a hand What you done now Kissa? And who's fault was it!!!
